SHARE Family & Community Services Society is a non-profit, independent, community-based organization dedicated to strengthening individuals and families across the Tri-Cities. Through leadership, advocacy, and essential social programs, SHARE responds to the evolving needs of the communities it serves, creating meaningful impact at both individual and collective levels.
SHARE Society selected Aura for the design-build of its new workplace because of our understanding of the unique operational realities of a non-profit organization. Aura’s integrated approach enabled a flexible and solutions-focused process, tailored to respect budget requirements, governance structures, and programmatic requirements. Throughout the project, Aura led with care, ensuring the client felt supported and confident at every stage of the journey.
Choosing the Right Partner Why SHARE Entrusted Aura with Transforming Its Workplace
At its core, SHARE Society’s mission is to create space for the community it serves. While functional, its previous office space presented an opportunity to become more intentional, better supporting staff effectiveness and enhancing the overall experience for individuals and families visiting the location.
The environment needed to feel safe, inclusive, and purposeful, a place where people could come as they are and feel cared for. Inspired by SHARE’s logo, which features a small house, the design concept embraced the idea of shelter and belonging.
Aura’s design strategy for SHARE Society is centered around the “Moment of Wow”. Design details that inspire connection, joy, and renewal are thoughtfully integrated throughout the workplace. The design strikes a balance between playfulness and professionalism, creating an environment that feels welcoming and purposeful. Warmth and comfort set the tone, supported by organic materials and earthy palettes that promote calm. Bright, youthful accents add touches of hope and community, bringing the space to life.

Welcoming Reception Area
Walking into the workplace, the reception area features dual reception desks to support efficient client flow. A comfortable waiting area awaits visitors featuring SHARE’s logo as a subtle yet memorable focal point.
Workstations & Offices
The employee workspaces include several open workstations and nine private and shared offices. The workspaces offer flexibility for focused work, confidential conversations, and team engagement.
Client-Facing Meeting Rooms
Five dedicated meeting rooms provide supportive, confidential spaces for client appointments, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to respect and privacy.
Multipurpose & Boardroom Space
A highly adaptable multipurpose room, including a small kitchenette, was transformed into a kid‑friendly environment for the various sessions hosted by SHARE. Sliding doors allow the room to expand into an adjacent boardroom, creating a flexible space suitable for workshops, group activities, and meetings.
Staff Lunchroom
The staff lunchroom features a full kitchen and a variety of seating options, offering employees a comfortable place to enjoy their meals. The warm, inviting atmosphere encourages rest, meaningful connection, and informal collaboration.
