Corporate Financial Institution, based out of a coworking space, lacked dedicated rooms for team functions and a comfortable lobby for visitors. The space also failed to convey a unique locale, missing branding elements that reflected its visual identity, and required an update to its otherwise generic decor.
Aura took a holistic approach, tackling the office’s layout issues while also giving it a complete visual overhaul. By widening a hallway adjacent to the main door, we created a boundary between the main, open workplace, and transformed the entryway area into a newly designated waiting area. We rearranged the space to create small and large boardrooms, casual meeting spaces, and even a dedicated room for recording podcasts. We incorporated CFI’s branding throughout window and door frames, entryway walls, subtle elements in the carpeted flooring, and multicoloured graphics. With an emphasis on close-quarters yet spacious-feeling use of the office’s layout, and accented with cosy furnishings, Aura’s plan helped make waiting and meeting rooms feel more like welcoming living rooms rather than a business workplace. The new layout and design has given CFI employees a versatile and comfortable place to work.
