IT company Long View Systems had a particularly daunting challenge: consolidate several different offices into a single space in downtown central Vancouver, while still allowing for the ability to accommodate fast growth. As a business centered around technological expertise, it had to be not just up-to-date visually, but contemporary in the way it facilitated tech-sector work philosophies.
Consolidating a workplace while opening it up
Aura designed a space that fulfilled Long View Systems’ need for growth while reflecting a lively atmosphere through eye-catching use of the company’s color scheme. Whiteboard walls and brightly-lit spaces — including a cluster of bare hanging bulbs as a visual punchline in the firm’s “Idea Center” — were highlighted with brand-reflecting hues of green, while the size and layout of the space itself encouraged free-flowing interactions that would help tie the consolidated workforce together in one place. Open-plan design combines with dedicated areas that can accommodate meetings in a comfortable and spacious environment.
